For the month of December, in partnership with an organization (name left out intentionally) that serves North Korean refugees in China, we (New Hope) are collecting funds to manufacture winter boots for children who have escaped from North Korea. For each $5 donation, we are able to produce a pair of winter boots for North Korean children currently living as refugees in China. Many of these children live in freezing weather during the winter.
New Hope is inviting our friends and family to join us in this effort to bring tangible relief to thousands of refugees, especially the children. If you are interested in helping us out, please consider donating to the drive via the “Donate” button below. In addition, the first $2000 will be matched by International Care Community!
Here is a video recently shot for our church website concerning this drive:
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the current crisis in North Korea, we invite you to visit the website of another great organization we support called LiNK (Liberty in North Korea). They too do great work with North Korean refugees.
