The United Nations just released their “Toolkit to Combat Trafficking in Persons” this past Thursday (October 9th). It is a thorough document (over 500+ pages) that provides up-to-date stats, legislative development, and global strategies. According to UN’s website, the goals of this toolkit are to:

  • Recommended resources such as training materials, websites, legislative guides, online conventions, analysis and published reports produced by anti-trafficking IGO, NGO and government partners around the world.
  • Promising practices of anti-trafficking interventions from around the world.

The following is a list of the chapter themes found in the toolkit:

    • International Legal Framework
    • Problem Assessment and Strategy Development
    • Legislative Framework
