My friend, Jeff Shinabarger, recently sent me a link to a new creative short film they made about a special bus stop for their community in the city of Atlanta. [I love to see these kinds of grassroots projects that seek to develop their community from the ground up (literally in this case).]
Please take a moment to read the following description of the project and view the 3 minute film below:
A celebration of mass transportation. That was the hope. A collaborative project between Whitestone Motion Pictures, Matchstic, Gift Card Giver, and about 40 different people that contributed Home Depot gift cards to this project. Together, we created smiles on the faces of neighbors that ride the bus everyday. Our hope is that you will be inspired to celebrate mass transportation in some way today and that you would do something creative for your neighbors. Thank you to everyone that helped in creating this little story with a huge message. We hope that as many people as possible see this film, so please embed the video on your blog and share the idea with the world.

That’s so cute! I love that they did that!
Genius. I wonder if there are any websites that host a giant list of ideas for community projects like this.
Creative and pragmatic idea !
