Charles — Thanks for highlighting the need for pairing passion with wisdom. These are great questions to ask.

When I read the kinds of stats you listed at the top, I have a very visceral reaction and immediately want to leap into action (as do many of your readers, I’m sure). However, I wouldn’t know the first thing about how to make a sustainable, real difference in clean water issues. These questions provide a meaningful framework for understanding the big picture.
